Questions

These describe how plans work once metering and billing are live. Until then every account is on the Free plan and credit cannot be bought.

What happens at the limit?
Requests stop with a 429 until your allowance resets. Need more? Buy credit, at the per-GiB rate shown on your plan; you are never billed after the fact.
How does credit work?
Credit is bought up front. It is used only after the month's included data transfer is used up, it is kept from month to month, and it is kept when you change plan. Auto-recharge is optional: you set it and you can switch it off.
Does credit expire?
No. Credit never expires. If you close your account, unused credit is forfeited and not refunded.
What counts as data transfer?
Every plan is metered by request rate and by monthly data transfer; there are no request counts. Responses with a 5xx or 429 status do not count and never draw credit.
